Inception is a word that I did not know until I heard about the same name’s movie… and it means birth, but I guess it is a fancier word. In any case, it is the starting point of the new year, but also the photography project that I would to pursue this year (and the upcoming ones).
I used to have this project of “One year, 52 pictures”, but it is quite difficult processing a picture per week, at least when I was studying, perhaps now I can do it; but just in case… I will make sure it is at least the project “One year, 12 thoughts”, that is, a thought represented by a picture every month (and I will also try to keep with the weekly one, but I cannot guarantee it…).

Anyways… I hope you like this one, which is a very simple picture, but the thought is quite complex as being born is the outcome of a marvelous and tedious process that only nature is capable of doing, and we, as humans, have a privilege by having the ability as well, and a new year, depicted usually by the month of January, means for many people a new start, or a celebration of being alive one more year.
Here you have a couple years old spring in one of Uppsala’s river sides, Fyrisån.
